The healthcare share class offer of Thames Ventures VCT 2 is closed.
On 4 July 2022, Downing completed the sales of its non-healthcare ventures business to Foresight Group Holdings Limited. The sale includes the transfer of the investment management contract for Downing FOUR VCT plc, with the exception of the Healthcare Share class which Downing LLP continues to manage.

Thames Ventures VCT 2 operates a policy of buying in its Ventures, Healthcare and AIM shares that become available in the market at a price approximately equal to a nil discount to the most recently announced NAV, subject to regulatory, liquidity and other considerations and allowing for stamp duty that may be incurred by the Company.

Downing FOUR VCT is a VCT with a number of share classes with various strategies. It was renamed from Downing Structured Opportunities VCT 1 plc in July 2015.
On 21 July 2015, the Company merged with three other Downing VCTs.
The DSO Ordinary/A Share pool completed the task of returning funds to shareholders on 24 March 2016. On 25 August 2016 the DSO Ordinary Shares and DSO A Shares were converted into deferred shares with no value and were cancelled.
The DSO B/C Share pool completed the task of returning funds to shareholders on 26 January 2018. The DP2011 Low Carbon Share pool completed the task of returning funds to shareholders on 16 March 2018. On 10 April 2018 the DSO B Shares, DSO C Shares and DP2011 Low Carbon Shares were converted into deferred shares with no value and were cancelled.
In 2016, the Company launched a Generalist share class and a Healthcare share class both of which are "evergreen".
