Downing TWO VCT is a limited life VCT that focuses on asset-backed investments in order to seek capital preservation. The company has undertaken six fundraisings, each issuing a different class of shares.
The process of returning funds to C Share/A Share investors completed on 24 March 2016 and the shares were delisted and cancelled in April 2017. The process of returning funds to D Share/E Share investors completed on 22 December 2017 and the shares were delisted and cancelled in July 2018.
The process of returning funds to F Share and G Share holders is underway. The process in respect of the K Share is scheduled to commence late in 2021.
In line with it's "limited life" plans, on 30 March 2021, the Company commenced a solvent voluntary liquidation and appointed a liquidator in order to reduce running costs and reduce restrictions from the VCT regulations while the process of selling the remaining investments to return funds to shareholders is ongoing.
