Sean joined Downing in 2017. As an Investment Director, he leads our UK renewables investment activities alongside driving Downing's strategy in this sector. Sean has a particular interest in flexible generation assets and how they interact with energy markets. Most recently, he has led our investments into private wire PPA projects with UK based water utilities. Prior to joining Downing, Sean was previously a Vice President at the UK Green Investment Bank, a double bottom line investor, focused on energy efficiency and onshore renewables. As such, he has a strong understanding of ESG matters in the energy sector.
