Gemma joined Downing in September 2024 as Head of Transaction Management. She is responsible for deal execution and portfolio management, with a particular focus on Development Finance, Bridging and Development Exit opportunities.

Previous experience also includes Operations Director at LendInvest, Head of Loans Administration at Hampshire Trust Bank and was involved in setting up their Development Finance team and developing their processes and controls. She has also worked at United Trust Bank, Heritable Bank and Close Brothers.
