Hydro

Kristinefors

Norsälven, Torsby, Sweden

Kristinefors is a flexible hydropower plant owned by Downing managed funds that is located on the Ljusnan river in the Torsby municipality.

Kristinefors was commissioned in 1941 and has five dams. The plant is powered by one propeller turbine and has an annual production of 0.7 GWh and an installed output capacity of 0.1 MW.

This hydropower plant is located in Sweden's SE3 electricity market price zone.
