Hydro

Gysinge

Dalälven, Sandviken, Sweden

Gysinge is a run-of-river hydropower plant owned by Downing managed funds that is located on the Dalälven river in the Sandviken municipality.

Gysinge was commissioned in 1922 and has one dam. The plant is powered by two single vertical Francis turbines and has an annual production of 2.5 GWh and an installed output capacity of 0.3 MW.

This hydropower plant is located in Sweden's SE2 electricity market price zone.
