Wind Asset Manager – Portfolio Executive

We are now hiring for a Portfolio Executive focussed on Wind, based in Stockholm, Sweden. The Executive will work closely with the Head of Wind and will contribute to setting up long term/high-standard asset management processes as well as supporting the wider Energy & Investment team.

Role and responsibilities

  • Full accountability for the operational performance of a wind farm located in Sweden.
  • Conducting KPI variance analysis and proactively identifying factors impacting asset performance.
  • Ensuring scheduled preventative maintenance aligns with the O&M contract and overseeing the timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Supporting compliance with regulatory, health & safety, and environmental standards.
  • Performing site inspections, including turbine ascents, and producing detailed reports and punch lists.
  • Managing and resolving low-level or non-critical technical incidents.
  • dentifying opportunities for performance improvement and operational optimisation.
  • Enhancing asset monitoring, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintaining thorough and accurate records, ensuring contractual milestones are met.
  • Providing general support to the wider team, including administrative tasks as needed.
  • To act as an ambassador for Downing’s values, and to always behave in a respectful and professional manner.

Education, experience and skills

  • 2+ years of experience as Asset Manager, O&M Manager, and/or in large-scale renewable projects
  • Higher education with technical focus (Master of Engineering or equivalent)
  • Understanding of technical asset management methodologies and experience in technical aspects of renewable assets
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Critical eye for compliance and safety
  • Knowledge of IT networks, databases, SCADA, OPC/ODBC servers
  • Strong MS Excel and general IT skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Swedish or Finnish language skills preferred

Hybrid working
