Matthew Zhang

Matthew joined Downing in February 2022 as an Investment Executive in the Energy & Infrastructure team. He is responsible for supporting deal teams with financial modelling, deal management and bespoke quantitative analysis across the renewable energy sectors.

Prior to Downing, Mathew worked as a Senior Consultant at Operis providing financial advisory and modelling on a wide range of project finance transactions. He has also worked at a M&A boutique focusing on energy transition. Matthew holds a BA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
