The Farmhouse at Redcoats Ltd

Sector:
Secured Finance

We've supported the acquisition and redevelopment of The Farmhouse at Redcoats, a 15th century hotel and restaurant in Hertfordshire.

This acquisition includes the purchase of adjacent Grade II-listed barns, which will be redeveloped into additional bedrooms and a function area for weddings. The site is being managed by the award-winning operator Anglian Country Inns and represents the eighth addition to their hospitality estate.

James Nye, Managing Director, Anglian Country Inns

“It’s been a bit of an eye opener for us because it’s the first time we have dealt with big outside funders other than banks, but working with Downing has been great because they have acted as a true partner.”
