Downing FOUR (Generalist)

We’re delighted that following two nominations at last night’s Investment Week Investment Company of the Year Awards, Downing emerged as winners in the Best New Issue VCT category for Downing FOUR (Generalist), and Highly Commended for the Downing Strategic Micro Cap Investment Trust.

The awards aim to recognise and reward excellence in close-ended fund management and highlight investment companies that produce consistent performance and where there is, in the judges' opinion, a high likelihood that the investors will not be disappointed in the future.

The judging panel is made up of some of the UK's leading researchers and investors in investment trusts and closed-ended companies, as well as several senior board members with many years' experience in the industry. The judges identified the most consistent performers and Investment Week rewarded the top managers across a range of sectors.
