Kartika joined Downing in June 2016 to build and scale digital product development, user innovation and platform growth. She brings over 12 years' experience prior to joining Downing, Kartika worked at startups and corporates such as Expedia, Trillionfund, Accenture and Envivio. During her MBA in 2010 in San Francisco, Kartika specialised in developing Alternative Finance platforms, helping SMEs raise money through direct public offerings (DPOs).

Her qualifications include: an MBA in Sustainability Management from Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco (USA), an MSc in Information systems and Society from London School of Economics and a BSc in Computer Science and Human Computer Interaction from Westminster University. Kartika highly enjoys working in different cultures and has lived in San Francisco, Berlin and Paris.
