Quantcast Growth Capital | Downing

Our growth capital team provides funding for UK-based businesses with significant growth potential. The companies we support are run by ambitious and talented management teams that are focused on creating leading businesses in their particular market. We are a committed funding partner, providing both long-term capital and strategic support throughout the investment term.

Our growth investment strategy focusses on providing £1 million to £5 million of capital to businesses looking to continue their expansion. Businesses we are looking to back may not necessarily be profitable, but there should be a clear strategy in place to achieve profitability in the near term.

Typically, the companies will have already navigated the start-up phase and successfully launched a differentiated product or service that provides them with a sustainable competitive advantage. This will generally mean that a business has more than £1 million of annual sales generated from satisfied, repeat customers. Our funding and support can then be used to build scale, enter new markets or launch next-generation products.

We are actively seeking opportunities in a variety of sectors, including e-commerce, enterprise software, healthcare and services. Because we understand that no two businesses are alike, we work to understand the unique features of each project and offer a bespoke funding package. This could include a combination of equity and debt, and although we prefer to provide capital exclusively, we may partner with other credible investors to help your business grow.
