Downoak Limited

Downoak Limited is a new Pub EIS company incorporated to purchase high quality freehold pubs in or near affluent market towns in South Central England.

The company is managed by Oakman Inns, a multiple-awarding-winning operator with deep sector and geographical market experience, a successful product and a clear growth strategy.

Downoak made its first acquisition in September 2014 with an investment of £1.1m to purchase, refurbish and relaunch a freehold ‘destination’ pub near Aylesbury, Hertfordshire that has successfully been relaunched as The Akeman Inn.

The company is actively pursuing further acquisition opportunities.
