How we work

  • We provide flexible finance to high quality operators and entrepreneurs at a risk profile beyond a traditional high street bank and at a lower cost than the majority of private equity, VCT or similar funders.

  • This is achieved by investing in companies that have a strong management team and assets available as security.

  • Investments can either be made against the security of existing assets (i.e. a refinance or management buy out) or for the purchase of new assets (i.e. part of a growth strategy).

  • We have money available to invest without the need to rely on bank finance. We believe that this provides a platform for competitive purchases especially given the current climate.

  • We recognise that one of the greatest asset of a successful business is its people and as such we are looking to work with determined and capable entrepreneurs.

  • Instead of making one-off investments we look to build long term relationships and to continue to support/invest in successful businesses as they develop and grow which we can then recognise to enable further growth/acquisitions.

  • We believe that a good management team is best placed to manage their business and, whilst our experienced investment management team are always available to help, we generally take a hands-off approach.

  • In addition to being able to provide relatively low-cost finance our flat structure and innovative approach allows us to act quickly and provide flexible solutions to most funding requirements.
