Judith MacKenzie

Judith

Judith joined Downing in October 2009. Previously she was a partner at Acuity Capital managing AIM-quoted VCT and IHT investments and a small-cap activist fund. Prior to Acuity, Judith spent seven years as a senior investment manager with Aberdeen Asset Management Growth Capital as co Fund Manager of the 5 Aberdeen VCTs, focusing on technology and media investments in both the public and private arenas. Judith is a Fellow of the Securities Institute and is a Scottish Executive Appointee to the Scottish Development Industrial Advisory Board.

William Barker

William joined Downing in 2011. He previously worked in the small cap team at Winterflood Securities as an equities market maker. William was also the founder and CEO of a successful consultancy and recruitment company. He graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc in Mathematics, currently holds the CISI Principles of Regulation award and is working towards earning the CFA charter.

Cheryl Vickers

Cheryl is based in Downing's Chester office and provides support to the AIM investment manager's team. Cheryl joined Downing in 2010 from Rathbones where she had worked since 1997 as part of the VCT, EIS and IHT Portfolio Service team. Cheryl graduated from Keele University in 1996 with a BA joint honours degree.
